What happens if my request is declined?
Nothing is charged, and you are free to request another trip straight away. A decline almost always means the boat was already booked or the captain was not running that day.
A decline is not a judgement on your booking. Captains hold their own calendars, and a boat can be taken by a repeat customer or a multi-day charter that was never listed here.
If your dates are fixed, widen the search rather than the date — a similar boat leaving from a different marina in the bay will often have exactly the same water available to it.
