What do the booking statuses mean?
A booking is Requested, Confirmed, Declined, Cancelled or Completed. You can see the current status of every trip in your account at any time.
- Requested — the captain has your request and has not answered yet. No money has been taken.
- Confirmed — the captain has accepted. This is the point at which you pay.
- Declined — the captain could not take the trip. Nothing is charged.
- Cancelled — the trip was called off after being confirmed, by you or by the captain.
- Completed — the trip has been run. This is what unlocks your ability to leave a review.
Every booking also has a reference beginning with PV-. Quote it in any message to us or to your captain and it saves a great deal of back and forth.
Each change of status sends you an email, so you do not need to keep checking. The captain sees the same statuses in their workspace, which is why quoting the status and the reference together settles most questions in a single message.
