Getting paid
How money moves here, why there are no payouts, changing your commission, refunds and tips.
- How do I get paid? The guest pays you directly on the day of the trip. The deposit they paid online is our commission and we keep that; the balance is yours and it comes straight from the guest.
- Do you hold my money at any point? No. We only ever collect the deposit, which is our commission. Nothing belonging to you passes through this company.
- How should I collect the balance? However you normally take money — cash is most common here, and pesos are easiest for everyone. The exact amount owed is on the booking.
- What if a guest will not pay the balance? The trip does not go out. Tell us the same day with the booking reference and we will deal with the guest.
- How do I change my commission rate?Change it in your operator workspace between 10%, 20% and 30%. It takes effect on new bookings and never alters a trip already confirmed.
- If a booking is refunded, who pays it?We do. The deposit is the only money that has changed hands before the trip, and refunding it comes out of our commission rather than your pocket.
- Do I keep the tips?Entirely. Tips are given to you and your crew directly at the dock and never touch this site, so no commission is taken on them.
