Do you hold my money at any point?
No. We only ever collect the deposit, which is our commission. Nothing belonging to you passes through this company.
There is no payout account to set up, no minimum balance, no payout schedule and no transfer fee, because there is nothing of yours for us to send. It is the simplest answer to the question captains most often want answered.
Here is the whole flow of money on a $500 trip at a 20% tier: the guest pays $100 to us by card at booking, and that $100 is the commission. On the day, the guest pays you $400 — cash in pesos, or card if you take it. If the trip is cancelled and the deposit refunded, we refund it from our side. Nothing you earned ever sits in an account with our name on it, and no dispute between a guest and their bank about a deposit can touch money you already collected.
