How reviews work, what to do about an unfair one, and what we expect from operators here.

• How do reviews work?Only guests who actually took a trip can leave one, and every review is read before it is published. Critical reviews are published; that is the point of having them.
• I think a review is unfair. What can I do?Tell us with the booking reference. We will take down anything abusive, personal or not about the trip — but not something simply because it is negative.
• How do I get more reviews?Ask at the dock, while the day is still fresh. Guests who had a good time are usually glad to, and almost none think of it unprompted.
• What do you expect from operators?Run the trip you advertised, at the price you agreed, on a boat that is safe and insured, and treat every guest decently. That is nearly all of it.
