I think a review is unfair. What can I do?

Tell us with the booking reference. We will take down anything abusive, personal or not about the trip — but not something simply because it is negative.

If a review contains a factual claim you can disprove, send us what you have and we will look at it properly.

The most effective response to a poor review is a run of good ones. Operators who ask every satisfied guest to leave a review rarely have a rating problem.

Unfair usually means one of three things: the review describes a different boat or trip, the guest is complaining about something the listing plainly warned them about, or the review contains a claim that is simply false. The first two we can act on with the booking reference. The third needs evidence — messages, photographs, the booking record — and we will look at it properly rather than take either side's word.

A review that says the fishing was slow is not unfair. The fish were not consulted.
