How do I block out days?
Close the dates in your calendar. Use it for haul-outs, private charters booked off-site, family commitments and anything else that takes the boat.
Closing a date is instant and removes it from search straight away. Existing confirmed bookings on that date are unaffected.
Blocked days come off every trip on the boat at once, so one action covers a haul-out, a private charter, a public holiday or a family week. Existing confirmed bookings on a blocked day are unaffected and still show in your upcoming trips. You can block a run of days in one go, and unblock them the same way when plans change.
Two habits keep a calendar honest: block the day the moment you take a booking anywhere else, and block the boat's maintenance days at the start of the season rather than when they arrive. A guest who requests a day you forgot to block is a request you have to decline, and declines count against you in a way that blocked days never do.
