Trips and pricing
Building trips, setting prices, child rates, extras, departure times and changing your rates.
- How do I set up a trip?A trip carries a name, a duration, a maximum group size, a price, the departure times you run it at, and what is included. Most operators end up with three or four.
- How should I price my trips?Price the trip properly and let commission do the visibility work. Undercutting the bay to appear cheap is the fastest way to a season of low-margin work.
- Should I price per boat or per person?Private charters are priced per boat, up to the maximum group size you set. Shared trips and dive trips are priced per person.
- Can I set a different price for children?Yes. A trip can carry a separate child rate, and guests choose adults and children when they book.
- Can I offer optional extras?Yes. Add-ons can be priced per booking or per guest, and guests choose them when they request the trip.
- What should I list as included?Everything a guest would otherwise have to ask about — fuel, rods, tackle, bait, ice, water, and whether food or fish cleaning is part of the price.
- How do I set departure times? Each trip carries the start times you actually run it at. Guests choose from those times rather than proposing their own.
- How do I change my rates?Edit the trip in your workspace. New prices apply to new bookings only — confirmed trips stay at the price the guest agreed to.
