What paperwork do you ask for?
Your captain's licence, your charter permit, your insurance, their expiry dates, and the safety equipment carried on board. It is about being able to stand behind who is on the site.
We ask for the licence and permit numbers you already hold, your insurer and policy details, and the expiry dates for each. We also ask what safety equipment the boat carries.
None of this is published on your listing. It exists so that when a guest asks us whether the boats on this site are legitimate, the answer is something we have actually checked.
Keep the expiry dates current. A lapsed policy or permit on file is the sort of thing that pauses a listing at the worst possible moment.
