What happens if I decline a lot of requests?
Declining an occasional request is normal and costs you nothing. Declining most of them means your calendar is wrong, and it will affect how often you appear in search.
A guest who gets declined usually leaves the site rather than trying another boat, so a listing that declines routinely costs everyone — you, us and the bay.
If you are busy, pause the listing or close the dates in your calendar. Both are better than declining.
