Can I bring children?

On most trips yes, and many captains price children separately. Minimum ages are set by the individual boat, so check the listing and tell the captain the ages when you request.

Inshore and reef trips suit children well — shorter, calmer, and with enough happening to hold attention. Long offshore days generally do not, and some captains will not take young children on them at all.

Boats must carry appropriately sized life jackets for everyone aboard, so tell the captain the ages of any children when you send your request rather than on the morning.
